Cat Cone Collar Soft Adjustable Recovery by KOOBURS Purple Flower XS

Description

Product Overview

The KOOBURS Cat Cone Collar Soft is engineered to give your feline a safe, comfortable recovery experience after surgery, injury, or skin treatment. Unlike traditional rigid plastic cones, this model features a plush, padded interior that cushions the neck and head, reducing stress and anxiety. The collar is crafted from a high‑grade, waterproof fabric that repels moisture and can be wiped clean with a damp cloth or tossed into the washing machine for a deeper clean. Its lightweight construction—measuring just 7.48 x 7 x 1.4 inches and weighing 2.56 ounces—ensures that even the smallest kittens can wear it for extended periods without fatigue.

The design incorporates a clear, low‑profile visor that maintains the cat’s field of vision, allowing them to navigate their environment without bumping into furniture or walls. The drawstring closure uses a cord lock that can be adjusted in seconds, accommodating neck circumferences up to 9 inches and head sizes up to 9 inches. This flexibility makes the collar suitable for cats under 6 pounds, as well as small breed dogs, providing a universal solution for post‑operative care.

Technical specifications include model number CCCHYH01, manufactured by KOOBURS, and a best‑seller rank of #70 in the Cat Recovery Collars & Cones category. The product has earned a solid 4.2‑star rating from 15 verified customer reviews, reflecting its reliability and user satisfaction.

Usage

This soft cone collar is ideal for a variety of recovery scenarios. Whether your cat has undergone spay/neuter surgery, dental work, or skin grafts, the collar creates a physical barrier that prevents licking, biting, or scratching of the wound site. Its waterproof surface allows for safe use in humid environments or after a brief bath, ensuring that the protective barrier remains intact.

Pet owners can easily fit the collar at home: simply measure the cat’s neck and head, pull the drawstring to the desired length, and secure the cord lock. The collar’s breathable fabric prevents overheating, making it suitable for indoor use during the day and nighttime rest. For outdoor cats, the lightweight design does not impede natural movement, allowing the animal to explore the yard under supervision while still receiving essential protection.

Veterinarians often recommend this collar for post‑operative patients because it reduces the risk of infection and promotes faster healing. The clear visor ensures that the cat can still see food bowls, litter boxes, and toys, encouraging normal feeding and grooming behaviors that are critical for a swift recovery.

FAQ

How do I determine the correct size for my cat?

Measure the circumference of your cat’s neck and the distance from the base of the neck to the tip of the head. The collar should comfortably cover both measurements without being too tight. For cats under 6 lb, the XS or Small size is recommended.

Can the collar be used on dogs?

Yes, the soft cone collar is suitable for small breed dogs that fall within the same size range as kittens (neck and head circumference under 9 inches). Always verify fit before use.

Is the waterproof material safe for my cat’s skin?

The fabric is hypoallergenic and free from harmful chemicals. It is designed to be gentle on sensitive skin while providing a barrier against moisture and stains.

How often should I clean the collar?

For routine maintenance, wipe the collar with a damp cloth after each use. If it becomes heavily soiled, you can place it in the washing machine on a gentle cycle with mild detergent.

What if the collar becomes damaged?

Contact KOOBURS customer support within 30 days of purchase. We will assess the issue and provide a replacement or refund according to our satisfaction guarantee policy.
